In this short paper, several results concerning Yano's extrapolation theorem are mentioned: a result of Koizumi from 1971 and a result of the reviewer from 2000. The main result of this paper establishes some relations between those results. Remark: The paper contains some misprints in condition (\(K_1\)) and (\(K_\alpha\)) where the domain and the range spaces are ordered reversely.
