It is well-known that if \(f\) is Henstock integrable on \([a, b]\) and \(g\) is of bounded variation, then \(fg\) is also Henstock integrable on \([a, b]\) [see the reviewer, ``Lanzhou lectures on Henstock integration'' (1989; Zbl 0699.26004), p. 72]. The authors give a proof of the above result with the Henstock integral replaced by some other generalized Riemann integrals on the real line using figures (finite unions of intervals) satisfying certain regularity condition instead of intervals, as introduced in \textit{B. Bongiorno}, \textit{M. Giertz} and \textit{W. F. Pfeffer} [Boll. Unione Math. Ital., VII. Ser. B 6, No. 2, 371-402 (1992; Zbl 0774.26003)].
