The paper presents the congruence problem for Hermitian matrices over \(C_ \lambda\) using the concepts of subring of the function field \(C(z)\) consisting of all functions \(a\in C(z)\) which have no pole at \(\lambda\). A lot of case-studies are presented with an example.
