Denote by \(C(0, 1)\) the space of all functions \(f: [0, 1]\to \mathbb{R}\) with sup-metrics. \textit{P. M. Gruber} [Monatsh. Math. 108, No. 2-3, 149-164 (1989; Zbl 0711.28004)] has proved that for all \(f\in C(0, 1)\) with exception of functions belonging to a set of the first category we have \[ \dim^H \Gamma(f)= \dim_E \Gamma(f)= 1< \dim^E \Gamma(f)= 2, \] where \(\Gamma(f)\) is the graph of \(f\), \(\dim^H\), \(\dim_E\) and \(\dim^E\) stand for Hausdorff, lower and upper entropy dimension, respectively. In this paper the mentioned result of Gruber is extended for further function spaces, for instance for the spaces of all selfmaps of \([0, 1]\), of all Lebesgue-Borel measurable selfmaps of \([0, 1]\), of all \(f: [0, 1]\to \mathbb{R}\) that are Riemann integrable on \([0, 1]\), and of all \(f: [0, 1]\to \mathbb{R}\) that preserve uniform distribution of sequences.
