The Lagrangian dynamics of fluid particles in a curved pipe driven by a periodic longitudinal pressure gradient is analyzed, and the quasi-steady flow of the resulting Hamiltonian system is studied. It is shown, using the Poincaré section, that the set of all trajectories involved in the resonant transport has non-zero measure. The main effects of molecular diffusion at large Péclet numbers are also discussed.
