The spherically symmetric flows of an ideal gas are considered assuming that Newtonian gravitation acts on the mass of gas. The problem of the decay of a special discontinuity is investigated by the method of characteristic series, and exact solutions of the initial-boundary value problems for the nonlinear integrodifferential partial-differential system are constructed in the form of converging series.
