    The author deals with the generalized implicit variational inequality: To find \(v\in E(v)\) and \(u\in F(v)\) such that \(v\in E(v)\) and \(g(v, v)\leq f(v, v, u)+ g(v, w)\) for all \(w\in E(v)\), where \(E: C\to 2^C\), \(F: C\to 2^D\), \(C\) and \(D\) are nonempty sets of topological vector spaces \(X\) and \(Y\), respectively, \(f: C\times C\times D\to R\), \(g: C\times C\to R\), \(f(x, x, y)\geq 0\) for all \(x\in C\), \(y\in F(x)\). The existence of solutions under suitable assumptions is proved. Using the existence results the extension of the Kakutani-Fan-Glicksberg fixed point theorem, the Fan-Reich alternative theorem, the Lions-Stampacchia variational inequality and the Gale-Nikaido-Debreu theorem in mathematical economics have been obtained.
