New version of the Lagrange approach to the dynamics of a viscous incompressible fluid (Q1893619)

The author describes a novel variant of the Lagrange approach to the dynamics of a viscous incompressible fluid based on constructions of stochastic differential geometry on diffeomorphism groups. In contrast to the well-known stochastic hydrodynamics, it is not assumed that there exist random perturbations of the exterior force acting on the fluid. A first version of that construction was already announced by the author in Usp. Mat. Nauk 45(6), 127-128 (1990).
