Inverse functions theorems for mappings and multimappings (Q1893923)

As is well-known inverse function theorems or open mapping theorems are basic and useful results. This paper surveys several kinds of openness results which are studied in the context of optimization. Sufficient conditions for openness are presented for either single-valued mappings or multivalued mappings which transform between finite-dimensional spaces or infinite-dimensional spaces. Some new results are also given. Notably there are more than one hundred related references listed in this paper.
