The laminar flow in a straight duct of an arbitrary-shaped cross-section has been studied. Several rods, which can move longitudinally with constant velocities, are placed in that cross-section. The Navier-Stokes equations are reduced to the Poisson equation with a constant right-hand side. A boundary integral equation method is proposed for the exact and for an approximate numerical solution. Finally, it ends up in a singular integral equation. As an example, the solution for circular pipe with two circular rods is presented. Applying a regularization procedure to the singular integral equation and using the calculus of residues, one obtains a system of three coupled ordinary differential equations. Velocity distributions have been shown for these cases.
