Let \(G\) be a bounded simply connected region in the plane, and for \(t\in [1, \infty)\), let \(\mu\) be a finite, positive Borel measure with support in \(\overline G\) such that each function in \(P^t(\mu)\), the closure of the polynomials in \(L^t(\mu)\), has an analytic continuation to \(G\). The set \(\text{abpe}(P^t(\mu))\) denotes the collection of analytic bounded evaluations for the polynomials with respect to the \(L^t(\mu)\) norm and is the largest open subset of \(\mathbb{C}\) to which every function in \(P^t(\mu)\) has an analytic continuation. The problem at hand is to determine when \(\text{abpe}(P^t(\mu))\cap \partial G\neq \emptyset\). In this paper, \(G\) is assumed to be a crescent -- that is, conformally equivalent to \(G_0= \{z: |z|< 1\}\backslash \{z: |z- {1\over 2}|\leq {1\over 2}\}\). Let \(\text{Rat}(\overline G)\) be the collection of rational functions with poles off the closure of \(G\). The author first shows that if \(\text{Rat}(\overline G)\subset P^t(\mu)\) then \(\text{abpe}(P^t(\mu))= G\). In the case when the containment is not proper, conditions on \(\mu\) are found which ensure that \(\text{abpe}(P^t(\mu))\cap \partial G\neq \emptyset\). Conditions are also found which imply that \(\text{abpe}(P^t(\mu))\) is the interior of the polynomially convex hull of \(G\) (which is the largest it can be). Examples are constructed which show that if \(\mu\) does not satisfy the conditions, then \(\text{abpe}(P^t(\mu)\cap \partial G= \emptyset\) is possible, even though \(G\subset \text{abpe}(P^t(\mu))\) and \(\text{Rat}(\overline G)\) is a proper subset of \(P^t(\mu)\).
