Math. 45, 663- 709 (1992; Zbl 0779.73018).] We develop equations for a small deformation superimposed on a finite deformation of an isotropic, elastic Bell material and study some applications of these equations for special small superimposed deformations and small amplitude waves propagating on a pure homogeneous deformation.
