Algorithms for the computation of the transfer function matrix for two- dimensional regular and singular general state-space models (Q1899564)

Simple techniques for computing the transfer function matrices of 2-D regular and singular discrete general state space models are presented. The presented algorithms generalize the well-known Leverrier algorithm to the 2-D case. It is shown that the transfer function matrices of regular and singular general state space models can be formulated via the state- transition matrices of the models.
