This is an interesting and very well written paper. Most of the auxiliary results are not proved but they are clearly stated and the author provides references for all the proofs. The aim of this paper is to provide a new proof of the following slightly improved version of the Div-Durl lemma due to J. P. Lions [cf. \textit{R. Coifman}, \textit{P. L. Lions}, \textit{Y. Meyer} and \textit{S. Semmes}, Compensated compactness and Hardy spaces, C. R. Acad. Sci., Paris, Sér. I 309, No. 18, 945-949 (1989; Zbl 0684.46044)]. Let \(E(x)= (E_1(x),\dots, E_n(x))\), \(B(x)= (B_1(x),\dots, B_n(x))\) be two vector fields satisfying the properties: \[ E_j(x)\in L^p(\mathbb{R}^n),\quad B_j(x)\in L^q(\mathbb{R}^n),\quad 1\leq j\leq n,\quad \textstyle{{1\over p}}+ \textstyle{{1\over q}}= 1\quad 1< p< \infty, \] \[ \text{div } E(x)= 0,\quad \text{rot } B(x)= 0\quad\text{in the sense of distributions}. \] Then, \[ S(x)= S(E_1, B_1)+\cdots+ S(E_n, B_n)\in \dot B^{0, 1}_1(\mathbb{R}^n), \] \(\dot B^{0, 1}_1(\mathbb{R}^n)\) is the homogeneous Besov space and \(S(E_j, B_j)\) is the ``infinite part'' in the renormalization of the pointwise product \(E_j(x) B_j(x)\). This renormalization uses the bilinear operators studied by \textit{R. Coifman} and \textit{Y. Meyer} [Au-delà des opérateurs pseudo-différentiels, Astérisque 57, Soc. Math. de France (1978; Zbl 0483.35082)].
