By constructing a suitable Lyapunov functional, the author obtains sufficient conditions for the zero solution of the delay difference system \(\Delta x_n=f_n(x_n,x_{n- 1},\dots,x_{n- k})\) to be uniformly stable. For related results see the paper of \textit{R. D. Driver}, \textit{G. Ladas} and \textit{P. N. Vlahos} [Proc. Am. Math. Soc. 115, No. 1, 105-112 (1992; Zbl 0751.39001)].
