The authors consider an impulsive automatic system described by a nonlinear equation \(\sigma(n)= f(n)= f(n)- \sum^n_0 G(n- \ell)\Phi(\sigma(\ell), \ell)\), \(n= 0, 1, 2,\dots\). Here, \(\sigma\) is the error, \(f\) -- the input \(\Phi\) -- the nonlinear elements satisfying \(0< r_u\leq \left({\Phi_i(\sigma_i[n],n)\over \sigma_i[n]}\right)\leq K_{ii}\), \(\forall \sigma_1[n]= 0\), \(K_{ii}> 0\). \(\Phi_i(\sigma[n], n)= \Phi_i(\sigma_i[n], n)\), \(\Phi_i(0)= 0\). All components of the input are vanishing, meaning that \(\lim f(n)= 0\). The authors apply the \(z\)-transform, then the \(\omega\) map: \(\omega= {z-1\over z+ 1}\). Criteria are established for absolute stability. These criteria applied to such nonlinear impulsive systems require verification that a certain real polynomial is strictly positive. This can be regarded as a generalization of the well-known Papov's criterion.
