On an operator in the space of complex-valued functions over a finite field (Q1901932)

In [the author, Prim. Funkts. Anal. Teor. Pribl. Kalinin 1986, 140-142 (1986; list of contents in Zbl 0743.41003)] there had been announced a certain family of operators in a space of complex-valued functions over a finite field. This family was parameterized by multiplicative characters of the field. In addition, there had been cited a number of properties of the family. In a part of the present article we expose in details the content of that paper. Moreover, we establish a connection between the operators from the mentioned family and Fourier and Radon transforms. We also give a basis which is naturally related, in a certain sense, to the family of operators.
