    The author examines convexifiability and the existence of supporting functions at boundary points of a pseudoconvex domain \(\Omega \subset \mathbb{C}^2\) with \(C^\infty\) boundary. The point \(p \in b \Omega\) is assumed to be of finite type \(k\); therefore \(\Omega\) is modeled at \(p\) by the model domain \(M = \{(z,w) : \text{Re} w > P(z, \overline z)\}\), where \(P(z, \overline z) = |z |^k + \sum_{j = 2, 4, \dots, k - 2} |z |^{k - j} \text{Re} (a_j z^j)\) for some \(a_j \in \mathbb{C}\). The main results are sufficient conditions on \(a_j\) for the existence of a supporting function at \(p\) and sufficient conditions on \(a_j\) for the convexity of the model domain \(M\). For a certain subclass of model domains, necessary conditions for the convexifiability of \(\Omega\) itself are obtained.
