Let \(f\) and \(g\) be Siegel cusp forms of degree \(n\) and weight \(k\) for the Siegel modular group \(\Gamma_n\) of degree \(n\), and let \(\chi\) be a Dirichlet character modulo \(N\). If \(f_m\) and \(g_m\) are the \(m\)-th Fourier-Jacobi coefficients of \(f\) and \(g\), respectively, and if \(\langle , \rangle\) denotes the Petersson inner product, then the Dirichlet series \(D_{f,g} (s, \chi) = \sum^\infty_{m=1} \chi (m) \langle f_m, g_m \rangle m^{-s}\) converges absolutely for \(\text{Re} (s) > k+1\). In this paper the authors derive the meromorphic continuation of this Dirichlet series and, when \(\chi^2\) is primitive modulo \(N\), obtain its functional equation with the root number \((G_\chi/ \sqrt{N})^4\), where \(G_\chi\) denotes the Gauss sum attached to \(\chi\). As an application, they also describe results on twists of the spinor zeta function attached to \(f\), when \(f=g\) is a simultaneous Hecke eigenform of degree two whose first Fourier-Jacobi coefficients is nonzero.
