Transfer map and Hochschild-Serre spectral sequences (Q1903701)

Let \(G\) be a \(p\)-group with Frattini subgroup \(Z\) of order \(p\). For every maximal subgroup \(K\) of \(G\), the author studies the map on the \(E_\infty\)-term of the Hochschild-Serre spectral sequence (for the central extensions of \(K/Z\) respectively \(G/Z\) by \(Z\)) induced by the transfer map from \(H^* (K; Z_p)\) to \(H^* (G; Z_p)\). The results are applied to get some \(\text{mod-}p\) cohomology classes of extra-special \(p\)-groups.
