    Let \(G\) be a bounded domain in the complex plane. The author considers the inhomogeneous Vekua equation \[ \partial_{\overline z} W + A(z) W + B(z) \overline W = F(z) \tag{1} \] with coefficients \(A(z)\), \(B(z)\) having a finite number of singularities \(z_1, \dots, z_n\) in \(G\). More precisely, \[ A(z) = A_0 (z) \biggl/ \biggl( \prod^m_{j = 1} |z - z_j |\biggr), \quad B(z) = B_0 (z) \biggr/ \biggl( \prod^m_{j = 1} |z - z_j |\biggr) \] with functions \(A_0 (z)\), \(B_0 (z)\) belonging to suitable spaces \(L_q (G)\), \(q > 2\). In the first step the author proves the existence of solutions in small neighbourhoods \(G_j\) of the singularities \(z_j\) by the aid of the contraction mapping principle. Moreover, one knows that there exist solutions of (1) in \(G \backslash \cup^m_{j = 1} G_j\). The construction principle generates holomorphic functions which can be determined in such a way that the solutions can be connected to a global solution of (1) in \(G\). Finally, the Riemann-Hilbert problem (1) and \[ \text{Re} \bigl( t^{- n} W(t) \bigr) = g(t), \quad t \in \partial G, \] is discussed.
