Let us consider mutually disjoint discs \(D_j\) \((j=1,2,\dots, n)\) on the complex plane \(\mathbb{C}\), \(D=\mathbb{C}\backslash \bigcup_{j=1}^n \overline{D_j}\). The author considers the \(\mathbb{R}\)-linear boundary value problem \(\Phi(\sigma)=a\Phi_j(\sigma)+b \overline{\Phi_j(\sigma)}+g(\sigma), \sigma\in \partial D_j\), \(j=1,2,\dots,n\), where \(a\) and \(b\) are given real constants, \(a<b\), \(g\) is a given function. The unknown functions \(\Phi\) and \(\Phi_j\) are analytic in \(D\) and \(D_j\), respectively, and continuous in the closures of \(D\) and \(D_j\). Using the Laurent expansions, the author reduces the problem to an infinite system of linear algebraic equations. Introducing perturbation parameters \(\lambda_j=a_j/d\), where \(a_j\) is the radius of \(D_j\), \(d\) is some typical distance between the discs, the author derives approximate formulae for \(\Phi\) and \(\Phi_j\) in terms of degrees of \(\lambda_j\). The author does not refer to the paper of the reviewer [Arch. Mech. 45, No. 2, 211-215 (1993; Zbl 0785.73055)] where the problem has been solved in analytic form.
