Let \(L_2\) denote Bousfield localization with respect to the spectrum \(E (2)\) where \(\pi_* E(2) = \mathbb{Z}/p [v_1,v_2, v_2^{-1}]\). In [\textit{H. Inoue}, \textit{Y. Osakada} and the second author, On some products of \(\beta\)-elements in the homotopy of the Moore spectrum. II, Math. J. Okayama Univ. 36, 185-197 (1994)] and [\textit{M. Mabuchi} and the second author, On some products of \(\beta\)-elements in the homotopy of the Moore spectrum, Math. J. Okayama Univ. 34, 195-204 (1992)] it is shown that in many cases \(\beta_t' \beta_{sp^{n+r}/p^ra_{n-i},i+1} \neq 0\) in \(\pi_*L_2 M_p\) where \(M_p\) is the mod \(p\) Moore spectrum and \(a_j\) equals \(p^j+ p^{j-1} -1\), 1 if \(j>0\), \(j=0\), respectively. In this paper the authors show that the image of these nonzero products under the canonical map \(\pi_* L_2M_p \to \pi_*L_2 \Sigma^1S^0\) are also nonzero.
