    The long-time behavior of solutions for the following parabolic systems \[ \begin{cases} u_t= \Delta u,\quad v_t= \Delta v,\quad (x, t)\in \Omega\times (0, T)\\ {\partial u\over \partial\nu}= u^m v^n,\quad {\partial v\over \partial \nu}= u^p v^q,\quad (x, t)\in \partial\Omega\times (0, T)\\ u(x, 0)= u_0(x),\quad v(x, 0)= v_0(x),\quad x\in \Omega\end{cases}\tag{1} \] are studied, where \(\Omega\subset \mathbb{R}^N\) is a bounded smooth domain, \(\nu\) is the outer normal vector on \(\partial\Omega\). \(u_0, v_0\in C^1(\overline\Omega)\) and satisfy \({\partial u_0\over \partial\nu}= u^m_0 v^n_0\), \({\partial v_0\over \partial\nu}= u^p_0 v^q_0\), \(x\in \partial\Omega\); and \(u_0(x)>0\), \(v_0(x)> 0\), \(x\in \overline\Omega\). \(m\), \(n\), \(p\), \(q\) are nonnegative constants. Our main result reads as follows. Theorem. Solutions of (1) exist globally iff \(m\leq 1\), \(q\leq 1\) and \(np\leq (1- m)(1- q)\).
