The aim of this paper is to show a dual version for crossed coproducts of a theorem of \textit{R. J. Blattner} and \textit{S. Montgomery} for crossed products [in Pac. J. Math. 137, No. 1, 37-54 (1989; Zbl 0675.16017)]. The result says that if \(H\) is a finite-dimensional Hopf algebra of dimension \(n\) over the field \(k\), coacting weakly on the coalgebra \(C\) and \(\alpha: C\to H\otimes H\) is an invertible cocycle such that \(C\rtimes_\alpha H\) is a crossed coproduct, then \((C\rtimes_\alpha H)\rtimes H^*\) is isomorphic to the comatrix coalgebra \(M^c_n(C)\). In the case of smash products, a duality theorem was proved by \textit{R. J. Blattner} and \textit{S. Montgomery} [J. Algebra 95, 153-172 (1985; Zbl 0589.16010)], where the Hopf algebra is allowed to be infinite-dimensional. The main tool used in this paper is the so-called Morita-Takeuchi context. In the first section the authors introduce a Morita-Takeuchi context for a left \(H\)-comodule coalgebra which is the dual of the Morita context of \textit{M. Cohen}, \textit{D. Fischman} and \textit{S. Montgomery} [J. Algebra 133, 351-372 (1990; Zbl 0706.16023)]. They use it to characterize finite Hopf-Galois coextensions. In the second section they define the crossed coproducts and prove the duality theorem by means of the Hopf-Galois theory.
