Let \(G\) be a linear connected semisimple Lie group, and let \(K\) be a maximal compact subgroup of \(G\). We consider a series of unitarizable representations, the cohomologically induced representations, and produce concrete realizations of such representations in the kernel of invariant differential operators. The minimal \(K\)-type of the Zuckerman module \(A_{\mathfrak q} (\lambda)\), \((V, \tau)\), determines a homogeneous vector bundle \(V \to G/K\). Corresponding to certain choices of positive roots, there is defined a certain homogeneous first order differential operator \({\mathcal D}^\lambda\) on \(V_\tau\). The author, \textit{A. W. Knapp} and \textit{R. Zierau} [ibid. 107, 302-341 (1992; Zbl 0761.22015)] and the author [ibid. 118, 351-406 (1993; see the preceding review)] gave an explicit non-zero integral map \({\mathcal S}\) from the derived functor module, realized in the Langlands classification, to the space of smooth sections of the vector bundle determined by \(V_\tau\). In the present paper we show that the image of \({\mathcal S}\) is annihilated by the differential operator \({\mathcal D}^\lambda\), and identify the image of the map \({\mathcal S}\). -- In some sense this paper generalizes the construction of \textit{A. W. Knapp} and \textit{N. R. Wallach} [Invent. Math. 34, 163-200 (1976; Zbl 0332.22015)].
