The author investigates a simple infinite product \(\prod^\infty_{k=3} \cos (\pi/3)\). Explaining the nature of the product, the author first estimates the product \(\pi_n= \prod^n_{k=3} \cos {\pi\over k}\) roughly and proves that \(\pi_\infty\) has a positive lower bound and an upper bound. More precisely, he establishes \[ 0.114107\dots< \pi_\infty < 0.116430\dots\;. \] The exact value of the product \(\pi_\infty\) is yet to be found out. Further no one knows whether \(\pi_\infty\) is irrational or \(\pi_\infty\) is expressible using \(\pi\) and the Euler's constant \(r\).
