The closed convex set \(C\) of the Hausdorff locally convex space \(X\) with topological dual \(W\) is \(\tau\)-continuous if the support function \(\delta^* (\cdot \mid C)\) of \(C\) is \(\tau\)-continuous on \(W\setminus \{0\}\), where \(\tau\) is a topology on \(W\), compatible with the duality between \(X\) and \(W\). The aim of the paper is to study the lower semi-continuous proper convex functions defined on \(X\) which have \(\tau \times t\)-continuous epigraph, where \(t\) is the usual topology on \(R\). So, the authors characterize such functions in terms of properties of their conjugates and use them for obtaining exactness of parametric convex minimization problems. Also, they provide necessary and sufficient conditions for the continuity of the sublevel sets of convex functions in finite-dimensional spaces.
