Handbook of algebra. Volume 1 (Q1909019)

The 24 articles of this volume will be reviewed individually. This is the first volume of a new series of survey articles of graduate-to-research level on most of the topics concerning Algebra. Algebra is here mainly understood as the topics covered by Sections 06-20 of the Mathematics Subject Classification Scheme with few exceptions, such as Boolean algebras, Number theory (Algebraic number theory is included), Algebraic geometry, \(K\)-theory where detailed handbooks either exist or are in planning. The series will definitely be a successful one and a most welcome addition to the existing literature.
