Let \(M\) be a \(2n\)-dimensional compact oriented \(C^\infty\)-manifold without boundary, \(\omega\) a symplectic structure on \(M\). An almost complex structure \(J\) on \(M\) is called a positive almost complex structure associated with \(\omega\) if 1) \(\omega(JX,JY)=\omega(X,Y)\) and 2) \(\omega(X,JX)>0\) for \(X\neq 0\). The metric \(g(X,Y)=\omega(X,JY)\) is called an associated metric. The space \({\mathcal A}_\omega\) of all smooth positive almost complex structures associated with \(\omega\), and the space \({\mathcal A}M\) of all smooth associated metrics on \((M,\omega)\) are Fréchet manifolds which are naturally isomorphic. The space \({\mathcal A}M\) can be supplied with a weak Riemannian structure \(g\). The author exposes his results on sectional curvatures of the spaces \({\mathcal A}M\) and \({\mathcal A}M/{\mathcal G}\), where \(\mathcal G\) is a subgroup of the symplectic diffeomorphism group \({\mathcal D}_\omega\) whose Lie algebra is the Lie algebra of Hamiltonian vector fields [see \textit{N. K. Smolentsev}, Sib. Math. J. 33, No. 1, 111-117 (1992); translation from Sib. Mat. Zh. 33, No. 1(191), 132-139 (1992; Zbl 0788.53023)] and calculates the sectional curvatures in the case that \(M\) is the flat two-dimensional torus.
