Let \(T\) and \(S\) be measure-preserving transformations defined on a probability space \((X,{\mathcal F},\mu)\). \(T\) and \(S\) are even Kakutani equivalent if some flow over \(T\) can be built as a flow over \(S\) without time change. Equivalently, there exists a transformation \(U\) on a probability space \((Y,{\mathcal B},\nu)\) and subsets \(A\) and \(B\) of \(Y\), of equal measure, such that the induced transformation \(U_A\) is isomorphic to \(T\), and \(U_B\) is isomorphic to \(S\). For \(\alpha\) a positive rational number, \(T\) and \(S\) are said to be \(\alpha\)-equivalent if some flow under 1 and \(1+\alpha\) with \(T\) as base, can be represented under 1 and \(1+\alpha\) with \(S\) as its base and where the two ceiling functions have the same integrals. Let \(T\) and \(S\) be even Kakutani equivalent. The aim of this paper is to construct a transformation \(U\) which is \(\alpha\)-equivalent to \(T\) and \(\beta\)-equivalent to \(S\), for irrationals \(\alpha\) and \(\beta\) which are irrationally related. This can be summarized by saying \(\alpha\)-equivalence together with \(\beta\)-equivalence spans even Kakutani equivalence, where \(\alpha\) and \(\beta\) are irrationally related.
