Clausen's hypergeometric series with variable \(1/4\) (Q1910051)

The author makes use of the cubic transformation formulae due to \textit{W. N. Bailey} [Proc. Lond. Math. Soc., II. Ser. 28, 242-254 (1928)] and \textit{I. Gessel} and \textit{D. Stanton} [SIAM J. Math. Anal. 13, 295-308 (1982; Zbl 0486.33003)] to obtain certain interesting formulas which gives the value of \({}_2 F_3 [1/4]\) and \({}_4 F_3 [1/4]\) under different conditions on the parameters.
