Families of polynomials with total Milnor number constant (Q1910170)

We prove the following analog of the Lê-Ramanujam theorem: For a family of \(M\)-tame polynomials with total Milnor number constant, the Milnor fibrations at infinity are diffeomorphic if the number of variables is different from 3. Using this result, we obtain, in the case of affine algebraic plane curves, that the intrinsic degree is constant in such families.
