The author gives three families of counterexamples to the following conjecture proposed by \textit{J. Bolton}, \textit{G. R. Jensen}, \textit{M. Rigoli} and \textit{L. M. Woodward} [cf. Math. Ann. 279, No. 4, 599-620 (1988; Zbl 0642.53063)]: a minimal 2-spheres \(S^2\) in \(\mathbb{C} P^n\) with constant Kähler angle \(\theta \neq 0, \pi, \pi/2\) has to be of constant Gauss curvature. This is a nice result. The key point of the demonstration is to discover the following fact: Let \(\psi : S^2 \to \mathbb{C} P^n\) be a linearly full minimal immersion with position 2. Suppose that the Kähler angle \(\theta\) is constant but the Gauss curvature is not. If \(\theta \neq 0, \pi, \pi/2\) and the directrix \(\psi_0\) of \(\psi\) is unramified, then \(n \leq 10\) and \(tg^2 (\theta/2 ) = 3/4\). Based on this fact, the author shows the following theorem: There are at least three families of totally unramified minimal immersions \(\psi : S^2 \to \mathbb{C} P^{10}\) with constant Kähler angle \(\theta \neq 0, \pi, \pi/2\) and nonconstant Gauss curvature. Moreover, \(\psi\) is homotopic to the Veronese minimal immersion.
