Let \(B_\tau\) denote the class of entire functions of exponential type \(\leq \tau\) which are bounded on the real axis. In this interesting paper, the author establishes several generalizations and extensions of the following result. If \(f\in B_\tau\) with \(f(x)= O(|x|^{- \delta})\), \(\delta> {1\over 2}\), as \(\to \pm \infty\), then \[ \int^\infty_{- \infty} |f(x)|^2 dx= {\pi\over \tau} \sum^\infty_{k= -\infty} |f(k\pi/ \tau)|^2. \]
