Let \(\mathbb{H}^d\) be a Heisenberg group and let \(X_1, X_2, \dots\) be a sequence of i.i.d. \(\mathbb{H}^d\)-valued random variables distributed according to a symmetric \((t^A)\)-stable measure on \(\mathbb{H}^d\). Furthermore let \(q : \mathbb{H}^d \to \mathbb{R}\) be the projection onto the center of \(\mathbb{H}^d\). Complementary to a law of the iterated logarithm for the partial product \(S_n = X_1 \dots X_n\) for the homogeneous norm considered by the second author [Publ. Math. Debrecen 47, 377-391 (1995)], the behavior of the projection onto the center of \(\mathbb{H}^d\) is analysed. It is shown that \[ \limsup_{n \to \infty} \biggl |q \bigl( (n \log n)^{- A} S_n \bigr) \biggr |^{(\log \log n)^{-1}} = 1 \] holds almost surely. This result is then extended to semistable laws on \(\mathbb{H}^d\).
