Kolyvagin's ``Euler systems'' in cyclotomic function fields (Q1912305)

\textit{V. A. Kolyavagin} [Prog. Math. 87, 435-483 (1990; Zbl 0742.14017)] introduced Euler systems in order to prove new results on class groups of number fields. The method was developed by \textit{K. Rubin} [Invent. Math. 103, 25-68 (1991; Zbl 0737.11030)]. The author considers the analogue of this method in cyclotomic function fields for cyclotomic units. The approach closely follows Rubin's arguments.
