    This paper gives a discussion of discrete two-time-scale systems (DTTS) and observer-based controllers for DTTS. A robust slow-observer-based (SOB) controller is proposed. For a fast sampling rate model, the prediction type observer-based controller and a SOB controller are proposed. A numerical example dealing with a twin-engine aviation aircraft is given to illustrate the derived scheme.
