    The author considers a homeomorphism \(\phi\) of a compact metric space \(X\) and a continuous function \(a: X\to L(H)\) with values in the algebra \(L(H)\) of bounded operators on a Hilbert space \(H\). Let \(\Phi: X\times \mathbb{Z}_+\to L(H)\) be a cocycle over \(\phi\), defined by the rule \(\Phi(x,n)= a(\phi^{n- 1}x)\cdot\cdots\cdot a(x)\). The linear skew-product flow (LSPF), associated with \(\Phi\), is the map \[ \widehat\phi^n: X\times H\to X\times H: (x,v)\mapsto (\phi^n x,\Phi(x, n)v),\quad n\in \mathbb{Z}_+.\tag{1} \] The author studies such LSPFs and, in particular, characterizes the hyperbolicity of the LSPF (1) in spectral terms for the weighted composition operator \[ (Tf)(x)= \Biggl({d\mu\circ \phi^{-1}\over d\mu}\Biggr)^{1/2} a(\phi^{-1}x) f(\phi^{-1}x),\quad x\in X. \] The operator \(T\) acts on the space \(L_2= L_2(X,\mu; H)\) of functions on \(X\) with values in \(H\), where \(\mu\) is a given Borel \(\phi\)-quasi-invariant finite measure on \(X\). The author assumes, that \(\text{supp }\mu= X\) and \(\phi\) is aperiodic, \(\mu(\text{Per }\phi)= 0\).
