The problem considered is to find the feedback controller steering a linear system to a prescribed terminal set and maximizing a linear function determined on terminal states, a scalar control action satisfying given limitations and the terminal set being described by a system of linear inequalities. The authors investigate the problem under the condition that the initial state is not known and belongs to a prescribed domain. The simultaneous control problems for a group of single-type dynamic systems with fixed initial states from the assigned range are derived and two types of optimal controllers are constructed. On the one hand, the initial states of the systems are used as additional optimization parameters, on the other hand, they are taken into account to obtain a guaranteed result. Two algorithms based on previous works [\textit{R. Gabasov, F. M. Kirillova} and \textit{O. I. Kostyukova}, Dokl. Akad. Nauk SSSR 320, No.6, 1298-1299 (1991; Zbl 0769.49028); \textit{R. Gabasov} and \textit{F. M. Kirillova}: ``Constructive optimization methods. Part 2. Control Problems'' (1984; Zbl 0626.90051)] for determining the solutions of these problems are presented. A numerical example of the optimal control of vibratory motion is given to illustrate the results.
