\(n\)-widths, Faber expansion, and computation of analytic functions (Q1914160)

In the present paper, the author comments on several results from the approximation theory involving analytic functions and completes them. More precisely, he deals with \(n\)-widths of sets consisting of analytic functions in the space \(L^q(\mu)\), with the approximation of analytic functions by Faber series in the uniform norm, and with the computing of the values of an analytic function with the help of Faber series.
