Let \(X = G/P\) be a homogeneous projective rational manifold where \(G\) is a semisimple complex Lie group and \(P\) is a parabolic subgroup. Let \(E = G \times_P E_0\) be a homogeneous vector bundle on \(X\) that is defined by an irreducible representation of \(P\) on \(E_0\). The author considers the problem of determining the dimension of the moduli space of Einstein-Hermitian structures on \(E\). It is well-known that the Dolbeault cohomology group \(H^{(0,1)} (G/P, \text{End} (E))\) is the tangent space of the moduli space of Einstein-Hermitian structures on \(E\) if \(H^{(0,0)} (G/P,\text{\textbf{sl}} (E)) = H^{(0,2)} (G/P,\text{\textbf{sl}}(E)) = 0\). Here, \(\text{\textbf{sl}} (E)\) is the subbundle of \(\text{End} (E)\) consisting of trace free endomorphisms. In this paper the author considers the case where \(G\) is a simple complex Lie group of rank 2, i.e., \(G\) is of type \(A_2\), \(B_2\) or \(G_2\). If \(P\) is a Borel subgroup of \(G\), the only irreducible representations of \(P\) are one-dimensional and this case is trivial. There are five possible cases when \(P\) is not a Borel subgroup (one for type \(A_2\), two each for types \(B_2\) and \(G_2\)), and for each of these cases the author computes the \(G\) representation spaces \(H^{(0,p)} (G/P,\text{End}(E))\) and \(H^{(0,p)} (G/P, \text{\textbf{sl}} (E))\). For type \(A_2\) and \(B_2\), \(H^{(0,2)} (G/P, \text{\textbf{sl}}(E)) = 0\), for \(p = 0,2\), and the author gives the dimension of \(H^{(0,1)} (G/P, \text{End}(E))\) which depends only on the rank of \(E\). The results for type \(G_2\) are limited since \(H^{(0,2)} (G/P, \text{\textbf{sl}} (E))\) vanishes only for a small number of low rank homogeneous vector bundles.
