The author studies the following problem in the upper half space: \[ - \Delta u= 0,\quad u> 0,\quad \text{in } \mathbb{R}^n_+\;(n\geq 3),\quad \partial_{x_n} u= - u^p\quad \text{on } \partial \mathbb{R}^n_+.\tag{\(*\)} \] Using the Kelvin transform and the moving plane method of Gidas, Ni and Nirenberg, it is shown that \((*)\) has no solution if \(p< n/(n- 2)\) and every solution of \((*)\) in the case \(p= n/(n- 2)\) has the form \[ u(x)= (n- 2)^{(n- 2)/2}\cdot C\cdot \Biggl( {- y_n\over |x- y|^2}\Biggr)^{(n- 2)/2}, \] where \(y\) lies in the lower half plane and \(C\) is a constant. A similar formula for solutions of \((*)\) is also proved in a paper of \textit{M. Chipot}, \textit{I. Shafir} and \textit{M. Fila} [Adv. Differ. Equ. 1, No. 1, 91-110 (1996; Zbl 0839.35042)].
