The author deduces interior \(C^{1+\alpha}\)-estimates with respect to space-variables for solutions of a linear parabolic equation with coefficients of the same regularity. The only point which makes it nontrivial is the assumption that the elliptic part may degenerate, assuming only semidefiniteness.
