Perverse sheaves and quivers (Q1918238)

Let \(X\) be a complex projective manifold and \(\Lambda \subset T^*X\) a conical Lagrangian subvariety of the cotangent bundle of \(X\). Let \(P_\Lambda (X)\) be the category of perverse sheaves whose characteristic variety is contained in \(\Lambda\). The authors show that \(P_\Lambda (X)\) is equivalent to a category of finite quivers by explicitly geometric construction of a quiver category. This result was known only for some particular pairs \((X, \Lambda)\). By an appropriate embedding and a contact transformation one reduces the problem to the case where \(X\) is a projective space and \(\Lambda\) is the conormal variety to a hypersurface of \(X\). In particular, the result implies that the category \(P_\Lambda (X)\) is equivalent to the category of finite-dimensional modules over a finitely presented algebra.
