The thermodynamic Bethe Ansatz (TBA) techniques, originally introduced over a quarter of a century ago in the study of non-relativistic, one-dimensional Bose gas with a delta function interaction, have attracted much attention. No explicit solutions to the TBA equations, except those through some numerical or perturbative methods, are yet available. Several new and efficient mathematical developments in recent years have helped in getting better insight into this area of research. The authors prove that the solutions to a pair of nonlinear integral equations arising in TBA can be expressed in terms of the resolvent kernel of the linear integral operator with the kernel: \[ e^{-\biggl[ \bigl( u(\theta) + u(\theta') \bigr) \biggr]} \cdot \left[ \text{Cosh} \left( {\theta - \theta' \over 2} \right) \right]^{-1}. \] After a detailed introduction, the preliminaries with six lemmas are given. A proposition is stated and proved. Two conjectures related to the TBA are investigated at length. An appendix contains some details of the relevant Fourier transform and the emerging results.
