The group action on the closed fiber of the Lubin-Tate moduli space (Q1919643)

Let \(G\) be a one-dimensional formal group of finite height \(h\) over an algebraically closed field \(k\) of characteristic \(p>0\). The group of automorphisms of \(G\) acts on the equicharacteristic deformation space of \(G\) which is isomorphic to the formal spectrum of the ring of formal power series in \(h\) indeterminates over \(k\). This action is rather complicated and little is known about it; the paper contains details of technical calculations to get some information on the orbit structure of this action.
