    Let \(\Omega_n\subset \mathbb{R}^n\) be a rectangular parallelotope with the base \(\Omega_q\) in the \(q\)-plane \(\Pi_q\) and \(\Omega^*_q\) its opposite face. In 1979, \textit{C. Andreian-Cazacu} [Complex analysis, Proc. Colloq., Joensuu/Finland 1978, Lect. Notes Math. 747, 10-23 (1979; Zbl 0426.30015)] proved that: ``If \(f: D\to f(D)\) is a homeomorphism satisfying the Grötzsch inequality \(\text{Mod}(\Omega_{n- 1}, \Omega^*_{n- 1}, D)\leq Q\text{ Mod}[f(\Omega_{n- 1}), f(\Omega^*_{n- 1}), f(D)]\) for all the coordinate \((n- 1)\)-planes, where \(Q\geq (n- 1)^{{n- 2\over 2}}\) and \(\text{Mod}(E, F, D)\) is the module of the arc family in the domain \(D\) joining the sets \(E\), \(F\subset \overline D\), then, \(f\) is \(Q^{n- 1} n^{{n(n- 1)\over 2}}\)-quasiconformal.'' Let \(QB(D)\) be the family of all the cubes \(Q\subset D\) of the form \((Q, q)\), where \(Q\) has its edges parallel to the coordinate axes and \(q\) is a distinguished face. The author establishes, in the note under review, that: ``If \(f: D\to D^*\) is a homeomorphism of \(D\subset \mathbb{R}^3\), satisfying the condition \(\text{Mod}[f(q), f(q^*), f(D)]\leq C\) with a constant \(C> 0\) for each cube \((Q, q)\in QB(D)\), where \(q^*\) is the face of \(Q\) opposite to \(q\), then, \(f\) is \(K\)-quasiconformal with the coefficient of quasiconformality \(K\) depending on \(C\)''.
