The author considers sections of a fiber bundle \(X\) that locally minimizes the \(L^p\) norm of the gradient among all \(L^{1,p}_{\text{loc}}\) sections where \(p\in (1,\infty)\) and shows that (i) such a local minimizing section is Hölder continuous everywhere except for a closed subset \(Z\) of the base manifold \(M\) and (ii) the set \(Z\) has Hausdorff dimension at most \(m-[p]-1\) where \(m\) is the dimension of the base manifold. The methods used here are developed from the work of \textit{S. Luckhaus} [Indiana Univ. Math. J. 37, No. 2, 349-368 (1988; Zbl 0641.58012)].
