The following Jacobian conjecture, originated essentially by Keller [\textit{O. H. Keller}, Monatsh. Math. Phys. 47, 299-306 (1939; Zbl 0021.15303)], is still open in spite of the efforts of many mathematicians from different fields: For all \(n\in\mathbb{N}\), if \(f:\mathbb{C}^n \to \mathbb{C}^n\) has polynomial components and the Jacobian determinant \(\text{det} f'(x)\) is a nonzero constant throughout \(\mathbb{C}^n\), then \(f\) is a polynomial automorphism of \(\mathbb{C}^n\), that is, a bijective polynomial map with polynomial inverse. Białynicky-Birula and Rosenlicht [\textit{A. Białynicky}-\textit{Birula} and \textit{M. Rosenlicht}, Proc. Am. Math. Soc. 13, 200-203 (1962; Zbl 0107.14602)] proved that if a polynomial mapping \(\mathbb{C}^n \to\mathbb{C}^n\) has a nonzero constant Jacobian determinant and is one-to-one, then it is also onto and its inverse is polynomial. Another fundamental idea is the reduction of degree method found by Yagzhev [\textit{A. V. Yagzhev}, Sib. Math. J. 21, 747-754 (1981); translation from Sib. Mat. Zh. 21, No. 5, 141-150 (1980; Zbl 0466.13009)], and independently by Bass, Connell, and Wright, [\textit{H. Bass}, \textit{E. Connell} and \textit{D. Wright}, Bull. Am. Math. Soc., New Ser. 7, 287-330 (1982; Zbl 0539.13012)], whereby the full Jacobian conjecture follows if we prove injectivity of the polynomial mapping \(f\) of the following special ``Yagzhev form'': the sum of the identity mapping plus a homogeneous cubic polynomial \(g\). As a stronger version of the Jacobian conjecture, the question has been posed whether for some values of \(\lambda\in \mathbb{C} \backslash \{0\}\) there exists a global change of variables (``conjugation'') on \(\mathbb{C}^n\) through which the mapping \(\lambda f\) becomes its linear part at the origin [\textit{B. Deng}, \textit{G. H. Meisters} and \textit{G. Zampieri}, Z. Angew. Math. Phys. 46, No. 6, 872-882 (1995; Zbl 0840.58013)]. Van der Essen has recently produced a simple Yagzhev mapping for which no such polynomial conjugation exists [\textit{A. van den Essen} (ed.), ``Automorphisms of affine spaces,'' Proceedings of the Curaçao Conference, July 4-8, 1994, Kluwer Academic, Dordrecht (1995; Zbl 0818.00010)]. The purpose of the present paper is to prove the following: When \(f\) is van den Essen's polynomial mapping, there exists a global analytic conjugation for \(\lambda f\) for all \(\lambda\in\mathbb{C} \backslash\{0\}\), \(|\lambda|\neq 1\). This leaves the question open whether or not there are Yagzhev functions with no global conjugations \(h_\lambda\).
